Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel

Founded by Giuseppe Cipriani in 1958 on the eastern tip of Giudecca, the hotel sits in extensive private gardens with a heated saltwater pool, a clay tennis court and views back across the basin to St Mark's. A complimentary launch runs to the Piazza; dining includes the Michelin-starred Oro and the waterside Cip's Club, and the hotel operates seasonally from spring to autumn.
